This pōtae is white and teal blue with a green underbrim and adjustable snapback, inspired by the classic snapbacks of 1990’s sports.
The logo is a map of Aotearoa surrounded by two Pōhutukawa flowers.
The Pōhutukawa is a rakau native to Aotearoa whose bright red flowers bloom around the beginning of December, representing the arrival of Raumati.
Pōhutukawa also represent conour nection between te āo kikokiko and te āo wairua, the human and the spirit world. The souls of the mate are said to pass through the pōhutukawa tree at te rerenga wairua at the end of their journey up Aotearoa before they depart to Hawaiki.
